Time to Plant!

This week has been an exciting week for Bonni's Garden.

Not only is the weather teasing us with 70-80 degree days, but our wonderful staff has helped build raised boxes outside the greenhouse.

Brian, Wally, and Page with the help of clearwater landscaping have spent the past few weeks designing and constructing our outside garden beds.

Bonni's Task Force collaborated in early May in efforts to decide a design for the garden. With everyone's input, we ultimately decided on 6 boxes with a trellis tunnel on the south end to shade the middle part of our garden.

These raised beds will be used mostly for an edible garden, including warm and cool season crops. Kid's Club and community volunteers will be helping Marie and Suzi plant and transplant delicious fruits, veggies, and herbs in the upcoming weeks.
